Consonance may be properly thought of as a meta-religion
because it embraces certain principles of other, well established,
world religions, while not claiming direct lineage from any particular one.
Its God is both well defined, and non-supernatural.
Nothing about Consonance conflicts with well established science.
There are no intermediaries between its practitioners and God.
It describes possible paths to various degrees of Transcendence,
depending on the practitioner’s aspirations,
including Full Spiritual Liberation.
It outlines various possible disciplines toward these goals.
There is no organizational hierarchy;
all motivation must be supplied by the practitioner.

The practice of Consonance,
as described on these pages,
has been developed by
William Owen Scott, Jr.
better known as
Owen Scott
or
Scotto (skado).
It is the culmination of 67 years
of solitary study, observation,
and exploratory practice.
